According to The Next Web, the popstar only hit 1 million followers seven months ago, and now she is onto 2 million! That means Brit was racking up 30,000 fans a day.

The Talk That Talk singer confirmed on her Twitter page that she will join the band for a special performance of their collaborative track ‘Princess of China’ at next month’s awards ceremony.

Oprah Winfrey in Mumbai

Oprah Winfrey arrived at the Bachchan residence Jalsa on Monday evening around 8.15 pm and spent a little more than one hour, talking with Aishwarya Rai and meeting her baby girl. In fact, Aishwarya Rai even gifted Oprah a sari (check out the sari on the following page) which the latter happily wore for the private party hosted by the socialite Parmeshwar Godrej.

“The gracious Oprah Winfrey visits our home, to meet us and bless the baby..warm hearted, endearing .. drive her to party in her honor. And Oprah in sari .. looking lovely !!” Amitabh Bachchan later wrote on Twitter.

Around 9.30 pm, Amitabh Bachchan himself drove Oprah Winfrey to Parmeshwar Godrej’s party. Oprah sat in the rear with Aishwarya Rai while Abhishek Bachchan sat beside his father who was at the wheel. Even at the party, we hear, Aishwarya and Oprah stuck together most of the time. Incidentally, Aishwarya Rai is the only Bollywood celebrity to appear on the Oprah Winfrey Show a few years ago, when the two bonded for the first time.

Madonna says Lady Gaga ripped off her song 'Express Yourself'

Madonna has remained uncharacteristically mum on near-universal charges that Lady Gaga ripped off her 1989 hit, “Express Yourself” with her self-described gay anthem “Born This Way,” which she performed at the MTV Video Music Awards last August.

Now, in an interview with Newsweek, Madonna breaks her silence.

“I thought, this is a wonderful way to redo my song (‘Express Yourself’). I mean, I recognized the chord changes. I thought it was…interesting.”

When Gaga’s single was released back in February, the similarities were so striking, “Express Yourself” became a trending topic on Twitter.

"Just listened to a clip of Lady Gaga 'Born This Way' and I gotta say...sounds a lot like 'Express Yourself' from Madonna," Chris Daughtry tweeted on Feb. 11. "OK. Good. A lotta peeps are saying the same thing so maybe I won't get raked over the coals:) I thought I was crazy for a second. And by the way...I'm not dogging it. Haven't even heard it all...that was just my first impress."

A fan posted a video to YouTube, comparing Madonna’s “Express Yourself” video to Gaga’s performance at the VMAs side by side. Several commenters noted that Gaga even wore a Madonna-like hairstyle in the video, “it's not a coincidence that gaga is compared to the queen of pop so much, more than other female artists in the past,” wrote one fan. “gaga follows madonna's steps. that's more than obvious. anyone can see it.”

The hot couple, who recently became parents to daughter Blue Ivy, claimed to have asked Sir Richard Branson if they can film on board one of his Virgin Galactic aircrafts when they embark on their first commercial flights later this year.
Apparently record execs have already started making inquires, as the couple want to go where no popstar has been before.
According to The Sun, flights on the six-seater spaceships are to due to launch this year and will cost £780,000 per person to be blasted 70,000ft into the Earth’s atmosphere.

Jay-Z has unveiled a new song to celebrate the birth of his daughter Blue Ivy Carter.

The rapper, who welcomed his first child with wife Beyoncé on Saturday, unveiled a new track titled ‘Glory‘ in honour of his newborn baby daughter.

Jay-Z posted the song to his website Life + Times on yesterday. The track features audio from Blue Ivy that was recorded shortly after her birth and tells the story of her conception, suggesting that Beyoncé suffered a miscarriage prior to conceiving Blue Ivy.
